We currently seeking Casual Event Labourers. The key attributes we are looking for are reliable, energetic, task driven, positive, well communicated, highly organised candidates to join our event delivery team.
We deliver and install structures and furniture to some of the most renowned premier events, including sporting events, large conferences, well-known public events and private weddings and parties in throughout Tasmania. We are seeking team members who are self-starters and can work in a team environment, who are committed and reliable and enjoy a challenge and completes every job through with a “can-do” attitude.
This is a role that offers variety of work on a day-to-day basis, we are seeking candidates who have the ability to jump in and get the job done with a positive attitude. On the job training will be provided.
The position is based from our Invermay warehouse at 295 Invermay Road, you will have the opportunity to travel throughout Tasmania installing equipment for a small event right through to large multi-day events.
Your main responsibilities include:
Delivery, Set Up and collection of Marquees and other event hire equipment.
Delivery of smaller items to and from events
A high level of customer service
Position requirements:
A current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
Experience working in a team environment.
Ability to lift heavy loads safely.
Police clearance or willing to obtain prior to employment (if successful)
Availability to be rostered on weekdays, weekends and evenings (flexibility)
